1 Mariana Islands species
Randall (2003) reported several Balanophyllia species from the Marianas, but these were all deep taxa collected through dredge sampling. I have not yet observed any Balanophyllia species from the shallow reefs of Guam or other islands in the Marianas. Both of the individuals below were observed in the Anilao area of the Philippines.
